So The Image Could Speak

So The Image Could Speak

Where will you be when the covenant is confirmed?

The apostle John is banished to the Isle of Patmos and, during his time there, is visited by an angel sent by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Then he sees Jesus Christ.

He is told to write of what was, what is, and what is to come. The book he writes, the last book in the canonical Bible, is the book of Revelation. It is, perhaps, one of the least understood books of the sixty-six books of the Bible.

The book of Revelation of Jesus Christ tells us of the last days and the final triumph of good over evil. It tells us of the fulfillment of God's plan for mankind and the completion of His covenant with Israel. The book of Revelation reveals God in all His mercy, His righteousness, and His love.

We see so much going on in the world today and have to wonder how long this can go on. How this One World Government will be ruled, and the One World Church gathered. We see mounting crime at the highest levels and, if we don't know God's plan, we could feel worried or concern. But the message in Revelation is not one of fear; it is one of glory and our Glorious Hope - the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

"The crowd gathered around the raised platform, set up with a table and eight chairs along one side, as the whole world watched the events unfold. They had been anxiously awaiting this day since the first promises of peace. At first, the world didn't believe the one who made those promises and, in fact, mocked him; “Who is this man who can bring this peace? Who does he think he is when so many have tried and failed?” The world was in chaos with wars erupting all over. If there wasn’t a war, then the impact of those wars were felt in even the most remote locations, with people dying because they couldn’t find anything to eat. When this man first made those promises of peace, there was hardly one family world-wide that had not been impacted by the worldwide losses."

"The newscasters' excited voices proclaimed, "It is done!" and "Peace, at last!". The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, believing this would call a cease-fire for all the battles, destroy the secret weapons stashes, halt the nuclear armament building, and end the sacrifice of their youth sent into battle."

***

"The eruption of applause, cheering and hallelujahs filled the air in that room and in nearly every home where this was being watched. The newscasters even turned their backs to their cameras, so they could look upon this mighty man – this savior of the world.

"This day marked the beginning of a new era and he had promised it would be a time of peace and security. It wasn't long before the whole world realized he lied."
