Susan Mouw
Christian Author and Poet
Susan Mouw was raised the middle child in a military family. Born at the Army hospital in Fort Benning, GA, she has
lived all over the US and in Baumholder, Germany. Her career spanned 20 years in application development, mostly within the financial community and
included a short stint in the US Army as an electronic signals intelligence analyst.
She is now retired and lives with her husband, Barry, on their mini-farm in mid-state South Carolina, with their dogs, a cat, and
a few chickens. She has raised and shown dogs, horses, and chickens and has enjoyed many hours of friendly competition and camaraderie
with her friends.
Susan was raised in a Christian home, but wandered away from God in her teens. She rededicated her life to Christ at the age of 42 and shares her
testimony in her poem, Twenty-five Years, in her first book, The Road to the Cross. Her and her husband now spend much of their time
reading and studying the Bible.
Readings of many of her poems are videotaped and can be seen on the Samples and Readings page of this website, as well as on her
Youtube channel.
Susan loves to write and is now working on her fourth book, as her third book - As In the Days of Noah was just released on Amazon.
Go Set A Watchman was originally released in mid 2020 and the Second Edition has just been recently released.
Susan was recently honored when one of her poems, The Garden, was selected to be included in the South Carolina Bards Poetry Anthology 2021
