Susan Mouw
Christian Author, Bible Teacher, and Speaker
Susan Mouw is a Christian author, Bible teacher, and speaker whose work focuses on Bible prophecy, the nation of Israel, the Book of Revelation, and discernment within the modern church. Through her writing and teaching ministry, she seeks to help believers understand God's prophetic Word and develop a deeper confidence in the authority of Scripture.
For many years, Susan has devoted herself to the study of biblical prophecy, particularly the relationship between Israel and the Church, God's promises to His covenant people, and the events surrounding the return of Jesus Christ. Her passion is helping ordinary Christians navigate difficult prophetic passages and understand how current events fit within God's unfolding plan.
Susan is the author of several books, including The Road to the Cross, Go Set a Watchman, Has God Cast Away Israel?, and So the Image Could Speak: A Layperson's Look at the Book of Revelation. Her newest work - soon to be released, His Kingdom Come, examines the historical roots and theological claims of the New Apostolic Reformation in light of Scripture.
In addition to writing, Susan has taught Bible studies and prophecy classes in churches and small-group settings. Her 12-week study through the Book of Revelation eventually became the foundation for So the Image Could Speak, after class participants encouraged her to make the material available to a wider audience. She has also spoken at women's ministry events and church gatherings, sharing her passion for God's Word and the hope found in biblical prophecy.
Before becoming a full-time author, Susan enjoyed a successful career in software development and application design. She spent more than twenty years in the technology field, including work in analysis and software development. The analytical skills developed during those years continue to influence her approach to biblical study, research, and writing.
Susan was born into a military family and spent much of her childhood moving throughout the United States and overseas. Those experiences fostered a lifelong curiosity about history, cultures, and world events—interests that later contributed to her fascination with biblical prophecy and the nation of Israel.
Today Susan and her husband, Barry, live in South Carolina, where they enjoy a quiet country life surrounded by horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and abundant wildlife. When she is not writing, teaching, or researching, she enjoys reading, photography, gardening, and spending time with family.
Through RoadToTheCross.org, Susan shares articles, resources, and Bible studies designed to encourage believers to trust God's Word, remain grounded in Scripture, and look with anticipation toward the return of Jesus Christ.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105
